Still Moon is seeking artists for the 21st Annual Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival this September!

Since its inception, the Moon Festival has become a significant anchor of community creativity and collective neighbourhood identity. It has raised awareness of the history of the Still Creek watershed, resulting in ongoing community stewardship, and the return of salmon to the ravine!

This year, we celebrate the harvest moon, Autumnal Equinox, and Renfrew-Collingwood’s diverse community and natural environment through interdisciplinary arts in the month of September with the theme of “Water’s Wisdom”.

We are recruiting musicians, dancers, and performers of all kinds for the Harvest Fair and for the Streamside Lantern Installation (September 23rd).

Read below to learn more and to apply!

It celebrates the full moon, harvest abundance, diverse cultural traditions, the natural environment of Renfrew-Collingwood, and its communities.

Over two decades, the Moon Festival has engaged over 100,000 people by providing arts-related jobs, visibility for artists, and opportunities for local businesses and residents to experience art in the presence of a cared-for Ravine.
