Wetland BioBlitz:

A Moon Festival Eco-Adventure

Workshop: Create a Botanical Cyanotype Lantern

Cob Shed Party & Dyer’s Guild Showcase

For The Love of Trees: Drop-in Costume Making Workshop

Drop by to create a costume inspired by a local tree.

Guidance, papier-mâché, cardboard, and art supplies will be provided.

Equniox Ceremony:

Quantum Care Moon Music & Labyrinth Walk

The outdoor Renfrew Ravine Labyrinth decorated with candles and Quantum Care founder, Eda Ertan, playing the Quartzophone (crystal harp) on one knee and closer to the ground. On the edge of the photo is also Clare Morgan on the Harp.

Main Festival Day

Community members joyfully march around a giant Moon Lantern in the shape of the Still Moon Arts Society logo. The lantern is a moon face with tribal lines on it. The procession takes place during the Twilight Lantern Procession in 2018. Twilight

Lantern Procession

Hundreds of people walking behind a giant moon lantern. This is the 2022 Lost Streams Parade, which is also known for the Twilight Lantern Procession.

A procession walk along the path of the Lost Streams that once flowed freely throughout the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood.

Truth & Reconciliation Workshop:

Naturally Dye an Orange Shirt Emblem

On a white background, a pot on an electric stove that has fabrics in boiling water, with one of the fabrics being pulled with a metal tongue and the colour of that fabric is orange. Other fabrics in the pot are white and a lighter shade of orange. On each side of the image, there is an orange strip that has white feathers within it (4 white feathers on each side).

Create an orange-shirt emblem with natural dyes, while reflecting on how we are working towards decolonization in our own lives.

Finale Performance:

Consciousness of Streams

Two performers stepping into a shallow pool of water with their feet, and bending to touch the water with their hand/s.
