Performance: Company at the Creek
Description: Join Company at Still Creek, as they explore their connection to water and the natural world through song. Inspired by the beautiful location of Still Creek, Company will serenade the audience with folk and indie music that reflects on water, rivers, and land, including songs like Hold Back the River and Northern Attitude. These songs help us learn from the natural world while helping us to better understand ourselves and our relationship with nature.
Bio: Company is a musical trio made of three friends who love performing together. The trio features Julia MacLean, Taylor McKee, and James Ross, who met performing together as teenagers. Their history is evident when they perform, as they harmonize with ease, making them a joy to listen to. Company brings their unique musical arrangements, eclectic mix of songs, and playful demeanour to every performance, creating a memorable experience for audiences of all ages.
Jennifer Getsinger
Bio: Jennifer (Jenny) Getsinger has lived near Renfrew Ravine since 2006, and has been an active member of Still Moon. A retired geoscientist interested in all aspects of the natural world, she’s also written a life-long journal, inspired by Henry Thoreau, Anne Frank, and Anais Nin.
Jenny has written poetry since the 1990s, with a few poems published occasionally. She’s a graduate of The Writers Studio at Simon Fraser University, in 2006 receiving a Certificate in Creative Writing.

Bio: In the late winter/early spring of 2022 a group of friends decided that it was time to build some art. Past time in fact. They’d built giant installation art together before but it was time to do something different, something that would encourage them to learn to work with new materials and spend quality, collaborative, creative time with each other. Kick off the Truck Collective was born.
LittleFox
Performance: LittleFox
Description: Equally at home creating and performing rousing dance tunes, sing-along cabaret numbers, or sparse and haunting folk tunes, LittleFox has carved a niche in the Vancouver roots music scene. Her songs’ subject matter is as wide-ranging as their styles, but at the end of the day, LittleFox has always been a project about strong women finding love and connection in the teeth of the apocalypse.
Bio: Vancouver singer and multi-instrumentalist Alison Jenkins started her latest band during the pandemic years, but her songwriting experience goes back several decades. A background in composing and music directing for live theatre, as well as playing different instruments in a number of bands, gave her a unique skillset in writing many different styles of music, a skill she has carried over to her own project, LittleFox.
Mauro Perelman & Tania Grinberg Duo
Performance Title:Mares (d)e Memórias
Description:We areTaniaGrinberg and Mauro Perelman, Brazilian-born artists now based in Vancouver. In Mares (d)e Memórias, we offer an intimate yet vibrant voice and guitar performance that explores water, memory, and migration through Brazilian, Yiddish, and Ladino songs. Inspired by Canada’s living waters, our music flows across traditions — from ancestral roots to new compositions. Warm, festive, and reflective, our performance invites connection, joy, and even dance, celebrating shared stories in motion.
Bio: Mauro Perelman is a Brazilian guitarist, arranger, and composer with a career spanning music direction, production, and teaching. He has performed in Tel Aviv and Vancouver, and led projects like the virtual choir Brasil de Todos os Cantos. Mauro conducts Cantando em Vancouver, teaches in Coquitlam, and creates music rooted in Brazilian and Jewish traditions. In 2024, he performed at the Ravine Moon Festival and continues to play at local gatherings and cultural events.
Tania Grinberg is a Brazilian singer, composer, and educator whose performances blend Brazilian and Jewish musical traditions with theatrical flair. Founder of the Brazilian klezmer band Azdi, she also creates poetic experimental animations and original Yiddish songs. With four albums released, Tania has performed widely in Brazil and Canada, including the 2024 Ravine Moon Festival, and regularly brings her vibrant artistry to community celebrations and intimate gatherings.
Mina Chan
Performance: A Musical Nature Walk
Description: Mina will perform some of her original vocal and piano songs about love and wonder for the natural world, as well as commentary on its destruction in the name of profit instead of people and life. The setlist is about the joy of our relations with each other that we feel compelled to protect.
Bio: Mina Chan is a singer-songwriter and pianist who writes songs inspired by the folk music and the stories of the world, and whose concept albums tell continuous stories about finding one’s place in the world. Mina is a regular at community events, including hosting two singer-songwriter festivals. She hopes to inspire people’s imagination and encourage a greater appreciation for the world around us, including those who are struggling with issues that are often overlooked.
Norine Braun with Alice Fraser
Performance: Songs For Trees
Description: Singer-songwriter/recording artist, bluesy roots rock Norine Braun’s plays from her album the groove oriented Songs For Trees, thanks to a Canada Council For the Arts Award and a First Peoples’ Cultural Council Award as well her latest Journey Toward Wholeness. Her partner Alice Fraser joins on keys and harmony vocals.
Bio: Norine Braun is an East Vancouver singer-songwriter & recording artist renowned for her soulful vocals and introspective songwriting in multiple genres. With 14 albums to her name, Braun’s music explores themes of the environment, identity, heritage, and the universal journey of life. Norine is Metis and Two Spirit. Her last album, Journey Toward Wholeness, explores adoption and connection. Her album Songs For Trees released in 2022 is dedicated to the forests and the spirits within the trees.
Vostok
Performance: Vostok – music from Eastern Europe and the Balkans
Description: Vostok’s performances are filled with a diverse range of music from across Eastern Europe and the Balkans in numerous languages and dialects. A Polish lament, a Croatian harvest song, a dissonant Bulgarian chant, a Ukrainian spring song first heard on a Kyiv subway – Vostok takes the listener from bliss to despair and back again. Audiences say: “It’s hard to describe the beauty and peace and enjoyment I felt listening to the group sing.”
Bio: Vostok is a vocal trio primarily performing a cappella. “Vostok” means The East – Eastern European music, from East Vancouver. With a strong connection to their roots in Ukrainian music, singers Aliya Griffin, Emily Villavicencio, and Jessica Hood also share a love of the rich and varied, yet often interconnected musical and cultural traditions from across Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
Stanza Lune
Performance: Stanza Lune
Description: Stanza Lune, a dreamy songster that self-accompanies on a vintage synth, shares some covers and original songs.
Bio: Stanza Lune is a synthy, sapphic, survivor songster making tunes for the moon. They’ve been everywhere from Vancouver Pride and the Vancouver Fringe Festival to collaborating with indie darlings such as Penelope Scott and the Bookish Songs Collective. Much of their musical inspiration comes from video games & cartoons they grew up on, and that shines through in their unique melodies, poetic lyricism, and the dreamy, synthy sounds of their Suzuki Omnichord.

- Limited street parking is available.
- We recommend walking, taking the bus, riding your bike, or carpooling when possible.
Accessibility
- The Colour-Me-Local Dye Garden is an unpaved grass garden located in the northwest corner of Renfrew Ravine Park, and wheelchairs may require assistance.
- Washrooms are not available on site but can be found at the Renfrew Community Centre, located 5 minutes away (~350 metres).
- There is limited seating available in the garden. Attendees may bring a camping chair if they wish.
