Still Moon Arts Society is currently looking for volunteers to sit on our Board of Directors. We are looking for individuals with a variety of skills, experience and backgrounds who can contribute to Still Moon Arts’ maintenance and growth while upholding its values. This position is best suited to an individual who is willing to commit and contribute to the Society, possesses an interest in and/or wishes to support the arts, environment, and/or community development.
Board members are elected for 2-year terms and are expected to attend monthly board meetings (approx. 10/year) and commit to an additional 1-2 hours per month to support board duties.
We welcome volunteers of diverse backgrounds and skills to build on the strengths of the board and the organization. This year, we are particularly looking to strengthen the board in the following areas:
- Biology, ecology and environmental engineering;
- Human resources; or
- Business, fundraising, and/or social enterprise
