Jar Lantern Workshop
Mon. Sep 14th, 6 – 8 pm @ Slocan Community Hall
Glass Jar Lanterns require only a jar, paper, and some wire, meaning you can learn with us and continue creating at home. These hugely popular lanterns are simple and fun to make, and look beautiful when lit in the evening. Come decorate your own lanterns and bring them to our evening Moon Festival events throughout the month! This workshop is taught by local artist Yoko Tomita.
Please note that this event will be taking place indoors at the Collingwood Neighbourhood House Annex, with limited capacity. The workshop will be in a large room with plenty of space for social distancing. You may sign up for a half-hour time slot below from 6-8 pm. Each jar lantern costs $12.
