Moon Festival Opening Ceremony

Tue. Sep 1st, 7:30 – 8:30 pm @ Slocan Park

Take part in the official opening of this year’s Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival! The opening ceremony will consist of live music, a natural dye display, origami folding, and a formal welcoming of the September full moon at Slocan Park. Attendees will be invited to partake in writing down their prayers for the water, and folding these prayers into origami boats that will float gently (and safely) in the waters of our neighborhood.
