Last year’s popular mooncake workshops are back! A cherished tradition of the Mid-Autumn Festival, mooncakes are a delicious treat to share with family and friends. Grab this opportunity to master the art of making traditional mooncakes. You will learn how to make two different flavours of mooncakes: lotus seed and coconut!
This year, we will be holding two sessions of the Mooncake Workshop:
Saturday, Sept. 7, 5:30-7:30pm
Sunday, Sept. 8, 10:30am-12:30pm

Both workshops will take place at the Collingwood Neighbourhood House Annex (3690 Vanness Ave).
Spots are LIMITED! Please make your reservation by calling Collingwood Neighbourhood House at 604-435-0323, or drop by the front desk at Collingwood Neighbourhood House (NOT the Annex) to fill out a registration form.

The workshop cost is $20. Enjoy and indulge in your tasty creation when it’s all done, and you will have the opportunity to bring some home to share with your loved ones (please bring your own container).

This workshop is co-produced by Still Moon Arts Society and the Renfrew-Collingwood Food Security Institute (RCFSI). Founded in 2002, RCFSI facilitates learning, leadership, and networking for local residents around food sharing, organic growing, food justice, food sovereignty, and nutrition to increase individual, family, and community capacity to attain food security.
