April 11th, 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM PST
Come join us for a spring cleaning of Renfrew Ravine Park! If you’ve been looking for ways to get involved and give back to our local parks, here’s your opportunity! We will be picking up trash in and around the park and also do some maintenance of some weedy plants (English ivy, English holly, and Japanese butterbur). Come learn about some of our local flora and fauna along the way! We’ll be touching upon some native plant identification, their ecological functions, and their some of their uses, past and present.
This will be a COVID safe event. All participants will be asked to wear a face mask / face covering for the entirety of the event. Participants will be asked a COVID-19 screening questionnaire upon their arrival. We will be working in a social distant way at all times when possible. We will not have more than 9 participants in our group.
All ages welcome!
Clean work equipment will be provided by Still Moon. Participants are welcome to bring their own as well!
