At Still Moon Arts, we are always looking for volunteers to help make our organization and events spectacular. Whether you would like to volunteer for an event, or all year long, we would love for you to join us! Without volunteers our organization would not be where it is today, and because of the support of our dedicated volunteers, we are able to continue to grow. Here are a few ways that you can get involved:

Alder Eco Arts Hub
Our studio space at the Slocan Park Field House is used for a wide variety of purposes, including natural dye workshops, eco-art activities, and Indigenous knowledge-sharing programs. If you are interested in getting involved, please send us an email through the form below.

Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival
The Moon Festival happens annually in September, and we would love your help in making the event happen.
The Streamkeepers work towards making Still Creek a healthier stream for its ecosystems. We meet monthly to plan activities for the community to take part in, learn about, and improve Still Creek!

Board members are elected for a 2-year term. The board consists of a president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, and members-at-large. Within the board, there exists several committees, including Youth, Stewardship, Communications, Fundraising, Governance and Policy.
Board members are expected to:
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Uphold the society’s vision, mission statement, and values
- Maintain communication with board via email when needed
- Optional, but encouraged to participate in one or more of the society committees

The Still Moon Arts Youth Committee consists of youth aged 15-19 who are passionate about supporting Still Moon Art’s pillars of art, stewardship, and community, and in particular want to engage with other youth around these values.
The Youth Ambassadors organize the Harvest Fair portion of the Moon Festival, as well as other workshops, events, and activities throughout the year.
The committee holds monthly meetings and receives support and mentorship from the Youth Programs Manager and Artistic Director. Last year, our team was lucky to have eight incredible Youth Ambassadors who have demonstrated leadership in the community!
