Art and Dessert Events

From 2020 to 2023, Art and Dessert engaged Sarah Ross House residents with the intention of welcoming them and ensuring they feel safe in the community. These monthly events combined art, conversation, and dessert. Art events included activities such as making masks, terrariums, t-shirt dyeing with natural dyes, lanterns, and art cards. Other nights we facilitated talks and skills sharing by Indigenous knowledge keepers who share healing teas, herbal salves with local plants, and traditional stories with the residents. Still Moon’s Sarah Ross House programming aligns with our values bringing nature, art and community connection to everyone in the neighbourhood.
