Still Moon Arts Society inspires vibrant and connected communities by creating artistic experiences and nurturing a passion for nature.

Guided by our belief in the transformative power of the arts, we bring together creativity, environmental stewardship, and community engagement in East Vancouver—focusing especially on the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood and the Still Creek watershed.

Since 2004, we have used the arts to raise awareness and drive positive change, helping restore Still Creek’s Renfrew Ravine from a neglected dumping ground into a cherished green space and outdoor learning hub.

Over the years, we’ve created dozens of community-engaged eco-art projects, hosted more than 20 editions of the Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival—an annual celebration of art, nature, and community—and offered hundreds of accessible workshops connecting people with nature and the arts. We’ve created the Colour-Me-Local Natural Dye Garden, an outdoor art space next to the Ravine where we now host many of our workshops. Our stewardship work has grown to encompass much of Vancouver’s Still Creek watershed, and we proudly host the Still Creek Streamkeepers

We invite you to explore our programs and find a way to take part that feels meaningful to you. With hands-on projects and volunteer opportunities for all ages, there are many ways to connect with the land, with others, and with your creativity.
